Parents are invited to join our Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) advanced support group, moderated by one of our center therapists. This group will meet on Thursdays from 12:00 - 12:45pm US Eastern Time starting on December 17, 2020.
This parent support group will take place via video conference call. This group is designed to help parents set and persist in goals for the management of their child’s food avoidance, as seen in children with ARFID. We recommend that parents participate in the ARFID Parent Education Group prior to this advanced support group.
In the past, this group has only been open to parents living in North Carolina due to state licensure laws. The rules on this are constantly changing, and we are in the process of learning what types of services we can offer to individuals outside of North Carolina going forward. If you live outside of North Carolina and you are interested in participating in the next group, please fill out this short online survey and we will keep you updated about whether this group will be available to parents living in other US states! If you live in North Carolina, please use the "Register" button below to register. (This button will only appear for users whose account settings list North Carolina as the state of residence.)
